This light features a self-adjusting clamp to lock onto umbrella poles sized from 1.25 to 2 inches in diameter. It is cordless and uses an AC adapter (110V) to charge the unit. This battery-rechargeable unit has 24 long-lasting LED lights that will last over 30,000 hours! Charge time is approximately 6 hours, and a fully charged light will run for approximately 8 hours. The low voltage of the lamps will not attract bugs. This light is waterproof but not meant to be used under water. To increase the lifespan of this light, store it upside-down in a dry place.

The fact that it clips around the pole and releases with a button, is a big plus. You can place it anywhere on the pole to adjust the amount of lite you would like. Also, place lites up to umbrella for a diffused lite, or lites facing down for direct lite. Another feature- use it in your house if the electricity goes out. It throws a lot of lite without the risk of candles with flames.

The color of light that is emitted from LED lights is cold, fluorescent-like light that isn't pretty or warm. It clashed with the rest of my outdoor lighting and I returned it. I have seen some "amber" LED lights that I might try next time in hopes that amber LED light will be warmer in color.
The color of the fixture is lighter than it looked from the picture on the website.
If that doesn't bother you, the product itself was well designed. It snapped on easily and could be turned either upright or downward depending on the desired lighting effect.

This is a great additon for our patio table dining & entertainment. It attaches easily and we like the ability to have it mounted either facing up for mood light effect, or faced downward for increased light on the table top.

I did not see the "bronze" color option on the website when ordered. Settled for black, as I felt this would match better with the bronze pole/red fabric of the deck umbrella we ordered at the same time. Was disappointed to see there was a bronze color option on the box the light came in.

Like: Durability. ability to charge the light. Easy to use.
Didnt like: Pricey. The Release button is too close to the light button. Hit the wrong one at night and watch the whole thing fly off the pole. The lights need to be softer.

Design is nice and simple. If you're a short person it's difficult to turn off and on with each use. We've brought the light down lower on the pole so that at least my husband can reach it to turn off and on. If you're expecting rain the light has to be removed because it's not waterproof. We haven't decided yet if we should just take it down every evening.

Q1: How long will it last?
A: RE060 will last about 8 hours on one full charge.
Q2: Will this light work with a cantilever umbrella?
A: It could work with a cantilever umbrella. However you would have to remove it when you lower the umbrella, as it would get in the way of the frame when closing.
