Cleaning and Caring for Sunbrella
Regular maintenance is the best way to keep your Sunbrella fabrics looking good and delay deep, vigorous cleaning. Brush off dirt before it becomes embedded in the fabrics, and wipe up spills as soon as they occur. For light cleaning, use a mild soap and water solution and a sponge, allowing your cleaning solution to soak into the fabric. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue and allow fabric to air dry.

We are on the 20th floor off the Hudson River and it often gets windy. Therefore, we wanted an umbrella pole that would not break. This Galtech umbrella pole is a single piece and made of very strong teak. Other poles available were aluminum and wood (that was made in two pieces). So far there is nothing that we don't like about our purchase and the price charged by Heyneedle was well below other teak umbrellas available on the web.

The umbrella is 15 days old and it has stains of mold all over. I am not satisfied with the quality of the fabric.

We have forwarded this issue to the manufacturer and they stated that this item is guaranteed against fading, and state that If kept dry, it will not support the growth of mildew as natural fiber will. It's easy to clean, requiring simple dusting off and soap and water.
