Received defective umbrella
I really wanted this umbrella for a patio addition I recently finished. Unfortunately, when I received it, it didn't work. The crank didn't do anything but spin.

My half patio umbrella is perfect for my climbing wall flower vines on my deck, to protect them from the extreme heat. Ordering was easy and at a wonderful price. And I received it so quickly.

I found that even with base weighted down the umbrella wanted to tip over when open. I installed a eye hook and attached the pole to house to prevent this. Also do not crank up to far as line will slip off pulley at top.

So happy with the first, I order another. One went over the sliding door as a awning providing shade inside. The other one went on the deck up against a trellis covered in vines for shade. Coordinated look and two different uses. Strong, sturdy and just plain happy. Penny, Ohio
