A seamless threaded coupling gives this umbrella a sleek appearance, while its two-piece assembly means it can be stored and transported with ease. The poles screw together in the coupling, which is more durable than the typical push-button coupling. A durable resin hub and runner are capable of handling years of use.
The simple push-up lift is easy to raise, and a pin locks the canopy in position. This umbrella features fiberglass ribs, which allow for greater flexibility than ribs made from other materials. Fiberglass ribs will stand up to windy conditions and are less likely to break if the umbrella should tip over.
For the 9-ft Commercial Aluminum Patio Umbrella, we recommend a 50-pound umbrella stand if you are using it with a table. Use a 70-pound stand if it will be freestanding, or a 75-pound stand or higher when used in a particularly windy area.

Cleaning and Caring for Sunbrella
Regular maintenance is the best way to keep your Sunbrella fabrics looking good and delay deep, vigorous cleaning. Brush off dirt before it becomes embedded in the fabrics, and wipe up spills as soon as they occur. For light cleaning, use a mild soap and water solution and a sponge, allowing your cleaning solution to soak into the fabric. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue and allow fabric to air dry.
 | Sunbrella fabrics have been tested to provide up to 98% UV protection, depending on depth of color. Whites and lighter colored fabrics provide less protection than darker fabrics. Just received 3 umbrellas in coral. They look great around our pool. Postponed writing the review for 3 month to see how they held up in the wind, after reading other reviews. We experience moderate wind gusts from time to time and they have held up nicely. Very pleased. Fast shipping (2 days).

wind resistant my but. 2 out of 6 broke in VERY light breeze first day in use. Very thin metal used for posts as well.

Five umbrellas were placed in the same courtyard. On one cover, the struts poked thru the fabric. Have been unable to get resolution from Hayneedle to correct the problem

Q1: Do these umbrellas come with the stand?
A: No, this umbrella does not come with a stand, however you can purchase one during checkout.
Q2: How much does it weigh?
A: The weight is 32 pounds.
Q3: Is the sunbrella fabric resistant to mildew? My last umbrella is covered with it after two years but it was not sunbrella fabric.
A: Yes, sunbrella is resistant to mildew. It lasts longer then other fabrics in the weather elements due to its durablity. I would suggest any thing with sunbrella.
Q4: What colors are parrot, and fern green (compared to forest green)?
A: The parrot color is going to be one of our brighter greens. The fern green is a little darker than the parrot, but lighter than the forest green. Our forest green is one of our darker greens.
Q5: 9 ft as a descriptor on an umbrella refers to what? total width for shade?
A: When working with patio umbrellas 9ft refers to the actual shade on the umbrella being 9ft in diameter.
