Cleaning and Caring for Sunbrella
Regular maintenance is the best way to keep your Sunbrella fabrics looking good and delay deep, vigorous cleaning. Brush off dirt before it becomes embedded in the fabrics, and wipe up spills as soon as they occur. For light cleaning, use a mild soap and water solution and a sponge, allowing your cleaning solution to soak into the fabric. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue and allow fabric to air dry.

After looking at many umbrellas at exhorbiant prices, I turned to the internet for a better price and better quality umbrella. [...] I feel as if I got a quality umbrella for a fairly reasonable price. The old adage that you get what you pay for certainly applies here. I am just amazed how this umbrella sheds the rain in a downpour! I especially took the comments from other reviews in choosing this umbrella and I expect no problems other than normal wear and tear with my umbrella.

We purchased this umbrella because we already had two like it. However, we encountered heavy winds and one of our original umbrellas blew over and broke. When trying to secure a replacement part, we learned that this Galtech umbrella, which is the at the very low end of their umbrellas, had been discontinued due to a poor frame design that doesn't hold up well in wind, etc. They have designed a new model with a much more secure frame.If we had known this model was no longer made, we would have purchased the new model, as it is a better umbrella.We were able to get a replacement rib assembly; however, it doesn't match the original rib assembly in style, as the honey champagne color was no longer available. We were able to use the new rib assembly, which matches in color, but looks different in style and material.I assume that the good price point for this umbrella [...] is due to the fact it is a discontinued model.We will continue to use these umbrellas for a few years and then replace them with stronger framed umbrellas.

Great service. Received 2 umbrellas in 2 days. But was more impressed by the durable, rich- colored Sunbrella material. It gave my patio area an instant "facelift." The pole and canvas are light enough that you don't struggle to move them, yet are not cheaply made.
One suggestion: Anchor umbrella tightly in a heavy-duty base (75 lb). I didn't do this at first and tropical storm winds sent them flying - but they did not break! That was amazing.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I love this umbrella! So much better than a previous 'cheaper' umbrella purchased from a large chain store. The Galtech is easy to install, sturdy, high quality glide mechanism to open and close, and the fabric is just great. After using one umbrella for a couple of weeks, I ordered a second one to be sure I had a matched pair.

Really wish you could get this delivered quicker without spending so much extra for shipping. Maybe it was the fault of the manufacturer. Great customer service. You can really get questions answered by speaking with live help.

Umbrella is well made. The Sunbrella material is sturdy and you can't kill it. Use grease relief on the fabric for any stains. First quality with a good price. It looks great on my deck!!

Q1: What is the difference between sunbrella grade A and B fabric? Is there a difference in durability? Sun protection?
A: There is no difference in durability or sun protection. Sunbrella assigns different grades as a pricing structure, some weaves and colors are more expensive to manufacture.
