I ordered this umbrella for an oblong glass top table. I live on a lake and can receive some pretty strong winds. I've only had it a few days but, so far so good. The umbrella is a beautiful shade of red. The pole has a spring in it to help in the wind. All in all I'm very satisfied with my purchase. Also, my order arrived much quicker than I anticipated. It's always that way with Hayneedle. I'm a very satisfied customer!

We have gone through 2 umbrellas (one inexpensive and one expensive) and both have been damaged or broken by the wind. The expensive one lasted but the tilt feature broke because of the wind. We have only had this one for a week now but I can tell that the "springs" are taking the load of the wind from the pole and canopy. I think we have finally solved our problem with losing umbrellas to the wind. Hopefully, this one will last us more than one summer here in the Northeast. I think the canopy is just big enough. We have a 6 person patio set and the coverage is just what we need. Can't review the longetivity of this umbrella yet.

Shipping was a little slow out of the box but things improved from there. We love the umbrella and it appears to be well constructed. Hopefully it will last for multiple seasons.
