Perfect for commercial use, the FiberBuilt Guadua 9 ft. Contract Patio Umbrella is built of top-quality, durable materials and designed to withstand Mother Nature. The umbrella shade is made of Sunbrella fabric which is extremely durable and is water and UV resistant. Flexible fiberglass ribs in a Teak finish support the Sunbrella shade and they're designed to flex and bend in high winds instead of breaking or snapping. A solid wood hub with stainless steel hardware measures 4.5-inches diameter and 6-inches high. Made of heavy-duty aluminum cores, the 2-inch diameter, one-piece pole has a protective, textured fiberglass coating for excellent durability. This finish has the look and feel of real bamboo and features hand-finished culms and raised nodes. Even the finial is designed to look like the raw edge of a bamboo pole. Additional features include molded nylon joints and end tips, single, sewn-in vent, storage ties and a push up and pin lift system.


About Sunbrella Fabric
Sunbrella fabric is breathable and water-repellant. If kept dry, it will not support the growth of mildew as natural fiber will. It's easy to clean, requiring simple dusting off and soap and water.



 Sunbrella fabrics have been tested to provide up to 98% UV protection, depending on depth of color. Whites and lighter colored fabrics provide less protection than darker fabrics. This protective factor is inherent to the product and will not diminish through use or exposure to the sun. Sunbrella furniture and umbrella fabrics have been awarded the "Seal of Recommendation" by the Skin Cancer Foundation, an international organization dedicated to the prevention of skin cancer.
