Cleaning and Caring for Sunbrella
Regular maintenance is the best way to keep your Sunbrella fabrics looking good and delay deep, vigorous cleaning. Brush off dirt before it becomes embedded in the fabrics, and wipe up spills as soon as they occur. For light cleaning, use a mild soap and water solution and a sponge, allowing your cleaning solution to soak into the fabric. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue and allow fabric to air dry. Didn't make it though the second month and that's not being outside every day. Some weekends. The rib broke off at the top section of the umbrella. Customer service would only give me a store credit. I didn't want the same poor quality umbrella or store credit. I just wanted my money back so I could shop some were else for a wind proof umbrella that would not break.

This umbrella is very easy to raise, the tilt mechanism is the best I've ever used, and the fiberglass arms are very durable.
Hopefully the sunbrella fabric will hold up for years to come... we had it on a pop-up tent trailer and it was amazing fabric.
This umbrella has taken breezy days without so much as budging... hopefully if we ever forget to drop it down during a wind storm it will survive... we shall see.

This umbrella has no tie, so flaps in the wind and causes friction to the table. I am having to tie it up with a ribbon, which looks ridiculous. The wind "vent" is tiny and also useless. I am ready to junk this new umbrella. Use only in very sheltered areas and without glass-top tables.

I guess I didnt secure the base well enough and it blow of my patio and toppled over into the grass. I saw it laying on its side on the ribs as they curled underneath. Stood back up and no damage :) This is the reason why I knew I had to have the flexible ribs!
It is heavy though.
