The Garden Gate 18 lb. Patio Umbrella Stand is designed to be used with a bistro or small dining table to support your 7.5 or 9-foot patio umbrella with style. Constructed of iron, this stand features a decorative top with scrolls and leaves, and it's available in several classic finishes. The neck measures 1.75 inches diameter to accommodate standard umbrella poles of 1.5-inches. This umbrella stand is not designed for use with free-standing umbrellas and is not to be used with umbrellas measuring 11-feet or more.

Because this item is composed of iron, it is not uncommon to experience some rusting, especially in humid or coastal environments. Rusting is not considered a defect in this item and is not covered under the manufacturer's warranty.

This looked pretty in the picture but when it arrived it was a disappointment. It was not the white that I expected; it was almost gray in color. The texture of the paint was grainy. The top where the tubing fits in was missing paint. The tubing that came with it was a different white and was scraped in two different places. The quality was just not there. It does not seem that sturdy either but I am giving it the benefit of the doubt since I haven't had it that long.

We bought this umbrella stand to use a base for our faux Christmas tree. It is great. The tree base fits into the stand and is stable and secure unlike the 3 plastic legs that came with the tree. The sage color is great as well. It is a soft green that is not obtrusive and the decorative base adds to the trees decor. We love it.
