Add artistry to your patio with this decorative umbrella stand. The Fleur 50-lb. Cast Aluminum Patio Umbrella Stand features a round base with a beautiful flower design. Constructed from a cast aluminum shell around a cast iron center, this umbrella stand is strong, heavy, and durable. The rust-resistant aluminum exterior is particularly well-suited for outdoor use, and it's a great alternative to iron, especially in humid environments.


The patented dual-purpose stem allows you to use this stand in free-standing or through-the-table shade applications. Extend the stem when supporting a free-standing patio umbrella, and reduce the stem when positioned under a table. When used with a table, this 50-pound base will support 7.5-, 9-, and 11-foot umbrellas. In order to support a 7.5- or 9-foot free-standing umbrella, this base will need a 30-pound add-on weight. The stand itself measures 20.9 inches in diameter, which provides a wide and sturdy base to anchor your umbrella securely.

        We bought this to anchor a 9' umbrella which it does quite well.....seems sturdy enough but we don't intend to leave the umbrella open when not using it. It's a pleasing design to the eye and would blend nicely with most patio sets with the exception of a strict comtemporaty/linear style. Only up a week but happy with it.

            I recently purchased a second umbrella for my patio. The other one goes thru a table but this one I wanted to be free standing so I knew I needed a heavy one that would hold up to fairly strong winds when I have the umbrella folded down as I don't wanting it tipping over and breaking things around it. It looks like it will be able to with stand winds even when the umbrella is extended out. Orginally I purchased a heavy Stone cast stand from another online vendor but it arrived at my door broken in half so I return shipped it. It is maybe good that it broke as this stand was only about $15 more and is made of durable aluminum and much more attractive. I probably would give it a 5 star if I had a chance to use it. It is still too cold here in Kansas to set the umbrellas out. It snowed last night. But I am pretty confident that this 50 lb stand will work out great. It is heavy to carry around. Good luck on your search for a stand that matches what you want.

                Really nice quality umbrella stand....and attractive design. This is SO much better than the resin-made stands. The base attaches to the cylinder (that holds the umbrella pole) securely, and feels solid. Currently I am using it without a table - just 4 chairs arranged underneath the umbrella and the wind does not affect it at all. I am very satisfied with this product!
