Its frame is secured to the post with strong, high impact nylon hubs and joints designed to safely support the 8 ft. by 8 ft. canopy. Nylon will flex with wind stress instead of break like plastic. The Sorrento Plus Umbrella also includes a sturdy powder coated galvanized steel stand. Secure the stand with four 16 in. by 16 in. concrete blocks, found at your local hardware or garden store.

The fabric of this canopy is crafted from 100% solution-dyed SunDura, to prevent fading. A protective coating is added to the fabric for better water resistance. The single wind vent located at the top of the umbrella is designed to facilitate airflow and aid in wind stability. Formed as a small upper tier, the vent is made of the same SunDura fabric and is colored white to compliment your choice of shade color.
